Our projected budget for the year of 2022 is $334,835. There are budget percentages being allocated to the International Missions, Cooperative Program, Eastern Baptist Association, Samaritan Ministries, Benevolence, Cambodia Mission, and local community needs.

We are engaged in several church ministries including an active Sunday School/Bible Fellowship group, Praise Team Choir, Newtown Apartments Ministry, Seniors Ministry, separate Men’s and Woman’s Ministries, Prayer Team Ministry, and a robust and active Children’s and Youth ministry.

Other outreaches are the weekly ‘Big Wednesday Night’ (a dinner followed by separate Bible study for the men, women, the youth and the children).

Current and past community programs are the famous ‘Walk Thru Bethlehem’ project (11-year run), Serving You Ministries, Vacation Bible School, International dinners, Local Spring Fest, Coat Drive, numerous after school events, and visitation to local nursing home residents and hospitals.

In 1999, Lynnhaven Baptist mission teams traveled to North Carolina and Virginia respectively assisting flood victims.

In 2000, our first foreign church building and ministry trip was to Romania.

In 2001, a church building and vacation Bible school team went to Mexico.

In 2002, our mission team joined together with other missionaries to help build a Baptist church in Russia.

Mission trips were completed in Scotland in 2004, Brazil in 2005, Peru in 2006, Cambodia in 2008, and Belize in 2012.

Our U.S. missions have included NC, VA, SC, FL, PA, MS, LA, NY, RI, and MD.

In 2012 our church provided support for transient volunteers in the aftermath of Super Storm Sandy. We contributed money, manpower, lodging and food to the flood victims and the volunteers. During this time we joined the MD/DE Disaster Relief Organization and trained teams that would support recovery and relief missions within and outside of our local area. Our church also conducted and participated in several training sessions throughout the following years.
