He has served as the worship leader at Silver Springs Baptist Church in Mt. Juliet, TN. The Pastor of Worship and Pastoral Care at Middle River Baptist and Paramount Baptist in Baltimore and Hagerstown, Md. He also served as a Lead Church Planter in Harford County, Md.

He is enrolled in the Doctor of Ministry program at Liberty University, in the Preaching & Teaching cognate.
Pastor Josh and his wife, Christen, have three boys and one girl, Camden, Simon, Harrison, and Maisie. They look forward to the many exciting and Christ-glorifying years ahead at Lynnhaven Baptist Church.
Laurie Zimmerman heads up our Children & Youth Ministry at Lynnhaven Baptist. She has faithfully served since 2008 and seen many children & teens come to know Jesus and deepen their spiritual walk with Him.
She encourages her kids as Paul did Timothy in 2 Timothy 4: 6-7 “Don’t let anyone despise your youth, but set an example for the believers in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, and in purity.”
She loves working with students of all ages and has a passion and enthusiasm for sharing the gospel, knowing if they turn their lives over to Jesus at an early age, they will have fewer regrets, a much more fulfilled and meaningful life, and an eternity with Jesus.
Karen has been on staff as our church secretary since 1992. In addition to secretarial work, she has been very active in our VBS program,
and a part of several mission trips and local missions over the years.
“Way back in 1992 I felt God calling me into the ministry and I had no clue what that looked like, but I’m so thankful He led me to Lynnhaven. I’ve been able to use my gifts and talents working with other staff members and members of the congregation.”
In her spare time, Karen enjoys doing crafts, going to concerts and reading.
