What We Believe

We affirm the Holy Bible as the Inspired, Inerrant, and Infallible Word of God and the basis of our beliefs. We are conservative (not fundamental) in our beliefs. The Bible is our guide, and Christ is our final authority. We do not fully ascribe to Calvinism or Arminianism. We see that the Bible teaches the sovereignty of God AND the freedom of humankind to choose. Thus, we hold these teachings in tension in faithfulness to the Scriptures.

We believe there are two ordinances of the church, believer’s baptism, and the Lord’s Supper. 

Our Church ascribes to the doctrinal statements of the ‘Baptist Faith and Message’ adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention of 2000. We voluntarily band ourselves together as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ, personally committed to sharing the good news of salvation with lost mankind.
